I am just delighted to post David Ho’s work. I guess his art is tainted by a mixture of Salvador Dali’s surrealism and dark humor. Going through his gallery was a pleasant experience. Even with a dark nuance David uses sweet and funny images to incorporate his views in art and the world. The pig collection is surrealistic, political and funny. The “Candice the ghost” series have as the main character Candice, an Asian young girl that as a ghost tries to connect to the world. Beautifully done, the Candice series resembles the old Asian scroll painting. Other series have a darker undertone, only because they encompass the human body, arousing a more sentimental connotation from the viewer. David Ho as a digital artist has landed in various commercial design projects. Today he has written many books about digital painting and is constantly having exhibitions throughout America.
